1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks a browser to store and return with later requests. Cookies can support essential functions, remember preferences, measure use or support advertising. “Session” cookies normally expire when a browser session ends, while “persistent” cookies remain until their expiration date or deletion.
Local storage is a browser feature that stores information on your device without automatically sending it with every website request. This site uses local storage to remember your privacy choice. Web beacons, tracking pixels, software development kits and browser fingerprinting are other technologies websites may use; Elevate Clarity does not currently install these for analytics or advertising.

The exact technical behavior of a session cookie can vary according to browser settings and hosting configuration. Server and security infrastructure may also keep ordinary request logs; those logs are not browser cookies and are described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Cookie Categories
Essential cookies
Essential cookies support security or functionality that you specifically request. The contact-form session cookie is essential because it helps prevent cross-site request forgery, applies basic rate controls and shows the correct form status. It is set when the contact page starts a secure PHP session. Essential cookies cannot be disabled through our preference tool, but you can block them in browser settings; doing so may prevent the contact form from working.
Analytics cookies
Analytics technologies can measure visits, page usage, performance and general interaction patterns. No dedicated analytics service is currently installed. The preference interface includes an analytics category so visitors have a clear choice before any future integration. Selecting “Allow optional cookies” does not activate analytics today because no analytics script or vendor is configured.
Preference cookies
Preference technologies can remember optional settings such as language or display preferences. No separate preference cookie is currently installed. The local-storage consent record itself is used only to remember the privacy choice and is treated as necessary for honoring that choice.
Advertising and targeted-advertising cookies
We do not currently use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, cross-site tracking or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. These practices are not included as an “on” option in the preference panel.
Third-party and embedded-content cookies
No third-party video, social feed, map or advertising embed is currently installed on the public pages. Ordinary links may take you to a third-party website; that website may set its own cookies under its own policy after you leave our site.
4. How the Consent Tool Works
On a first visit, a banner offers three clear routes:
- Essential only records that optional analytics and preference categories are not allowed.
- Allow optional cookies records permission for both optional categories. No optional technology is installed today.
- Customize opens category controls so you can make a granular choice.
The two top-level choices are presented with equal visual weight. Refusing optional technologies does not prevent access to website content or reduce service quality. You can select “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer to revisit the panel. Updating the consent-policy version causes the banner to be shown again so a previous choice is not silently applied to materially different practices.
5. Browser Controls
Most browsers let you inspect, block or delete cookies and site storage. Settings differ by browser and device. Deleting site data will remove the stored privacy choice, so the banner may appear again. Blocking all cookies may disable the contact form’s security session. Browser private modes may delete cookies and local storage when the private session closes.
6. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
The preference tool checks whether the browser exposes a Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal. Because this website does not sell personal information or process it for targeted advertising, there is currently no such processing to opt out of. If that changes, we intend to recognize a valid, legally applicable GPC signal for sale or targeted-advertising opt-outs, subject to applicable law and technical capability.
“Do Not Track” is a separate browser signal without a single generally accepted response standard. We do not respond separately to DNT at present because no behavioral advertising or analytics tracker is installed.
7. Future Changes to Website Technology
Before adding a nonessential analytics, preference, advertising or embedded-content technology, we should assess its data practices, update this inventory and policy, configure it to wait for the relevant choice, and provide any additional notice or opt-out required by applicable law. Consent to the categories described here is not blanket consent to undisclosed materially different uses.
8. Relationship to the Privacy Policy
This Cookie Policy focuses on browser storage and similar technologies. The Privacy Policy provides broader information about contact-form data, server logs, purposes, disclosures, retention, security and state privacy rights.
9. Contact and Policy Changes
